Weddings in Mallorca

Late May to July is the UK´s best period June may be a
traditional month for weddings in the united kingdom, but here
in Majorca most couples prefer to wait for the cooler months of
September to November when there are many beautiful flowers on
the hillsides and in the fields, plus history has shown that
those elaborate hairstyles will wilt in the hot summer sun,
along with the best man and guests in three-piece suits or
tight outfits in the Mediterranean heat.
Where there is the promise of fine Mallorca weather the
couple will be able to enjoy the local beautiful scenery, the
north and east of Mallorca, such as Cala d´Or has to offer, the
areas which over many years, have become known and made a name
for themselves as the perfect place to start off married life
or new life style. Have a church wedding here in Mallorca,
blessings are fairly normal and indistinguishable from a full
church ceremony real wedding – you simply do not sign a
wedding register here. The Reverend Redfearn, local
village chaplain to the Anglican Congregation of St Andrew's in
Puerto Pollensa, has certainly had a some busy years of late,
conducting wedding ceremonies or renewal of vows at the wedding
venue chapel in the main square of the Old Port itself, the
Hermitages Chapel at La Victoria, Old Alcudia, and the wedding
venue chapel of San Jordi in Pollensa town center, as well as
in Alcudia town center, S'Olivaret a small village between
Alaro and Orient in the area of Deia.
Mallorca churches are the best places to host your weddings.
The vicar already has bookings for many months of next year
around the cooler periods. For persons who don't live
permanently in the area, the actual legal part of the marriage
must be done in their home town, perhaps in the local registry
office, but many brides and grooms feel the ceremony here on
beautiful Majorca island is their happiest day and will be
easily remembered, as the one with the picture they will
cherish the rest of their natural days. Janie Stevens, whose
picture with new husband James Small is on our wedding page and
below, is from a Scottish family who have had a holiday home in
Puerto Pollensa for more than 17 years, so, for her, there was
never a question of where she wanted her wedding ceremony to
take place. Other newlyweds, such as a couple from Florida who
tied the knot here recently, choose Majorca to escape the
pressures of a huge wedding and demanding family and
friends it's far enough and across the seas of blue
to put off all but the most determined best friends and family
guests Certainly all that one needs are good facilities and
service in the areas of floral arranging, cakes,
photographers, flowers restaurants or local catering services
and facilities, We are the persons who will organize your whole
best day event and bring this magical day show to you and your
guests making it a special day for you.
